Rather than a built-in hand wheel, requiring additional gearing and complication, the FLO-PAK relies on a special mounting system which allows the actuator to be quickly and easily removed from the valve by pulling two spring clips.

In case of actuator failure the FLO-PAK, attached by flexible conduits, is lifted off of the valve and set either on a dedicated service shelf or on any nearby flat, dry surface.

Every FLO-PAK comes with its own T-bar in a "holster" attached to the side of the actuator which may be used to manually operate the valve. Instructions for reattaching the FLO-PAK are located in the actuator's O&M manual.

Note: When the FLO-PAK is located inside of a vault or where the FLO-PAK can not be safely placed on the ground when removed, the use of a Vault Wall Service Shelf is recommended. Please ask for details.
